What You'll Do
As our Founding Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving Guideline Guru’s growth by closing mid-market accounts in the mortgage space. You’ll also help evolve our sales process and product roadmap, and will report to our CEO. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with a clear path to broader sales and company leadership opportunities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Full Cycle Sales: Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing and onboarding.
- Lead Generation: Build relationships with inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities through emails, calls, LinkedIn, referral partners, and industry events.
- Sales Targets: Hit a $600K annual quota with uncapped commissions and an accelerator incentive for overachievement.
- Product Impact: Identify customer needs and product gaps, and help translate them into new feature ideas.
- Process Evolution: Help streamline and evolve our sales process, and contribute to marketing initiatives and customer support when needed.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- 4+ years of SaaS sales experience.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas.
- Experience managing and closing mid-market or enterprise deals.
- Experience selling into mortgage lenders is a strong plus, but not required.
- While these are our ideal qualifications, we’re open to other exceptional candidates who bring relevant experience and a strong track record of success.
- Title, compensation, and equity will align with experience and expected impact.
Skills:
- Clear, confident communication. You’ll be selling into senior decision-makers.
- Prioritization. You’ll need to focus on the most promising leads and sales tasks.
- Strategic thinking. You’ll identify prospects for whom Guideline Guru would be a strategic asset, and connect our capabilities to what they’re trying to achieve.
- Project management. You’ll manage larger deals with multiple decision-makers and navigate their vendor review processes.

What You'll Get

- Compensation: Competitive base salary and an on-target earnings (OTE) range of $150,000 - $180,000, with no cap on commissions and an accelerator for exceeding quota.
