Job Summary
We are Charlemagne LLC, an international development planning firm specializing in urban planning, urban infrastructure systems, infrastructure development, international development, and poverty alleviation. Our company does projects domestically in the United States of America and internationally. We conduct research in STEM fields and social studies to support our specializations. We are seeking ambitious urban planners, scientists, civil engineers, material engineers, chemists, chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, systems engineers, software engineers, international political economists, political scientists, economists, and development practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research in various subjects with the ultimate goal of alleviating poverty and advancing the world.
- Collaborate with team members to design experiments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Execute experiments, simulations, and field studies.
- Review and document experimental procedures and results accurately.
- Partake in project bid initiatives.
- Perform all tasks related to project management, development, implementation, and delivery.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Acquire data using various methods.
- Analyze data using various statistical software systems to support research findings.
Experience
- Proven experience in a research team and laboratory setting is essential.
- Familiarity with Project Management Institute, INCOSE, and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE ) techniques and best practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of development projects.
- Understanding of research protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in experimental documentation are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Job Details:
This is an independent contractor position and apprenticeship. Candidates make their own hours, and work is based on commission from bid and grant approvals.
Job Types: Contract, Internship
Pay: $23.03 - $27.74 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
