Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, Professional, organised, and motivated HEDIS Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that all HEDIS care gap measures are properly identified, tracked, and closed on time.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess strong typing and computer skills, and work independently while effectively communicating with a USA-based healthcare team.
Note: If you are located in Pakistan, India, China, Bangladesh, philippines, Indonesia, or any other country, this is a great remote opportunity to work with a U.S.-based company and team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update all HEDIS care gap measures
- Order necessary screenings and tests, including:
- Cologuard / Colonoscopy
- Mammograms
- Diabetic eye exams
- Schedule and follow up on:
- Annual physicals
- Hospital follow-ups
- New patients not in EMR – enter patient data and schedule appointments
- Ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and all care gaps are 100% closed
- Pull and review reports from healthcare portals and EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)
- Track progress and ensure completion of assigned tasks on schedule
- Communicate with internal team members to coordinate care and follow-ups
- Meet all compliance deadlines for outstanding care gaps
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong typing and computer literacy
- Ability to work with healthcare portals and EMR systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and follow-up abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in HEDIS or healthcare quality assurance
- Familiarity with U.S. preventive care guidelines and medical terminology
- Background in a healthcare or medical office setting
