Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with the ability to develop engaging lesson plans and utilize learning technologies effectively. This role involves working with students of various ages that reside in various African Countries.
Responsibilities
- Iimplement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide group tutoring sessions in specific subject areas.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure understanding and retention of material.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement.
- Communicate effectively with students and AGCC regarding student progress and challenges.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and lesson planning (Certified Teachers Preferred).
- Familiarity with learning technologies that can enhance the educational experience for students.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
- Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting, including early childhood education or preschool experience.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Background in special education is a plus, along with any relevant certifications in childcare or education-related fields.
- A passion for helping students succeed academically and personally through tailored educational support.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $24.12 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
