The role demands technical depth, principled thinking, a high bar for quality, structured communication, bold innovation, and a mentality of starting with the customer and working backwards. You will work alongside a star team from engineering, data science, computer vision, research & design, marketing, operations, legal, sales & customer success in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, technology environment to build intelligent experiences and drive ROI-positive impact for customers.This role in particular requires a unique combination of strategic insight, technical acumen, and execution leadership to launch entirely new product lines for Motive.What You’ll Do: Develop new AI products that solve hard operational challenges across diverse verticals (e.g., waste services, construction, field services), driving the product line from conception to successful market launch (0-to-1)Own the entire product lifecycle, defining the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmapConduct deep market and customer surveys to identify high-value, unmet operational needs uniquely solvable by Motive’s AI development capabilitiesDefine clear, actionable product requirements for AI models, edge hardware integration, and software features, managing trade-offs with Engineering and AI teams.Lead the GTM strategy in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, developing positioning, pricing, and enablement materials necessary for rapid market adoption.Act as the primary voice of the customer and the market, deeply engaging with early adopter customers to validate prototypes, gather feedback, and ensure strong product-market fit.Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment across Engineering, AI R&D, Design, and Operations, motivating and influencing teams without direct reporting authority to deliver exceptional results.Define and track key product and business metrics (e.g., model precision, recall, adoption rate, revenue) to measure the success of the new product line and inform subsequent investment decisions.What We’re Looking For: 7+ years of experience with Product ManagementHigh customer empathy, with a desire to get in the shoes of our customersHave high “EQ”; be even-keeled, flexible, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changesProven experience in delivering commercially successful software productsBe data-driven; you regularly seek out and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinionsYou are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts in verbal or written form.
