What is our Interest in Arizona's Alternative Business Structure?
The Arizona Supreme Court has established a comprehensive framework for business entities to create and operate as Alternative Business Structures (ABS). Governed by Arizona’s Code of Judicial Administration § 7-209 (ACJA § 7-209).
In simple terms, Arizona’s Alternative Business Structure allows non-lawyers to have ownership, investment, and management roles in law firms. From the time the Arizona Supreme Court passed ABS into law, we believed it to be a unique investment device. We are currently interviewing Arizona attorneys to take on cases generated from this type of business model.
