Job Summary
NoteForWork is a physician-founded async telehealth platform. We issue legitimate, physician-signed work and school absence notes for short-term minor illness. We are NOT a prescribing platform. We do NOT do video or phone visits. We do NOT issue FMLA, ADA, disability, or return-to-work paperwork.
We are specifically hiring overnight nocturnist coverage — roughly 8pm–8am Eastern, with some flexibility on the exact window. Our ideal candidate is a board-certified MD or DO with 25 or more active US state licenses who can review patients across our national footprint during overnight hours.
This is supplemental, fully remote, on-your-own-schedule moonlighting. Most reviews take 2–3 minutes.
Compensation
- $10 per completed review (~$150 -$200/hour at full volume; most reviews take 2–3 minutes).
Schedule
Fully flexible. Commit to availability windows that work for you. Evening and overnight blocks are especially valuable to us. Minimum commitment is light — we just ask that you honor the windows you sign up for.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in 25 or more US states. Multi-state licensure (IMLC participants strongly preferred) is the central requirement — without it, please do not apply.
- Clean disciplinary history (no active board actions, no pending investigations).
- Demonstrated ability to commit to overnight availability windows, roughly 8pm–8am Eastern.
- Async telehealth experience preferred but not required.
Strict scope — please read before applying
- We only issue short-term work and school absence notes for minor self-limited illness.
- We do NOT do FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability paperwork, jury duty, modified duty, return-to-work clearances after surgery, or any service requiring a clinical exam.
- We do NOT prescribe medication of any kind.
- We do NOT conduct video or phone visits. All review is asynchronous from a structured intake form.
- You are responsible for confirming you are licensed and in good standing in each state before reviewing patients from that state.
Pay: Up to $150.00 per hour
