Senior Travel Consultant (Remote)

Are you an experienced corporate travel professional who thrives on solving complex travel challenges and delivering exceptional client service? As a Senior Travel Consultant at Travel Incorporated, you'll manage sophisticated travel requests, create seamless itineraries, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. You'll also mentor newer consultants, share your expertise, and continue growing your career within an innovative, client-focused organization.
This is a remote (not mobile) position with a set schedule. Flex scheduling is not available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver exceptional service by handling complex travel requests and providing accurate, timely solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop customized travel plans that align with client objectives.
- Educate clients on travel options, policies, and company products, translating complex information into clear guidance.
- Collaborate across teams to share knowledge, improve processes, and support operational excellence.
- Mentor and support less experienced consultants while consistently meeting or exceeding quality and performance expectations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience, improve retention, and drive business results.
- Depending on business needs and assigned team, support after-hours functions including fulfillment queues, Hotel eDirect, Vendor Hold Forms, group travel support, and government travel support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 3-5 years of corporate travel consultant experience required, or demonstrated success as a Travel Incorporated Travel Consultant meeting all senior-level performance expectations.
- Proven ability to manage complex domestic and international itineraries across multiple client accounts.
- Strong knowledge of corporate travel policies, industry terminology, and best practices.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with one or more Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
- Experience using travel management platforms and contact center technologies.
- Strong digital literacy, including internet, email, chat, and standard business applications.
Communication Skills
- Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong listening and questioning skills to accurately identify client needs.
- Professional phone presence with the ability to explain complex travel situations clearly and confidently.

Schedule
Training Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Ongoing Schedule
Following training, associates will be assigned to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on business needs. Assigned schedules are fixed and may include weekend hours.
Additional Requirements
- This is a remote/virtual (not mobile) position requiring a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.
- High-speed internet is required. Travel Incorporated cannot support internet service provided via satellite or mobile broadband providers such as Verizon or T-Mobile.
- Company equipment will be provided.
- Although this is primarily a remote role, travel to our Duluth, Georgia office may be required for portions of training and periodically throughout the year (typically 2-3 times annually for up to three days at a time).
