Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Director to lead tax compliance for our international corporate clients. This critical role involves managing a team of tax professionals, ensuring compliance with complex tax regulations, and collaborating cross-functionally to provide our clients with international tax advisory. As a key leader, you will oversee the tax function, provide expertise in international tax issues, and guide the team to ensure efficient and compliant tax reporting and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local corporate tax returns across various entities.
Oversee compliance with international tax regulations, including transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and foreign tax credit utilization.
Monitor adherence to tax compliance regulations and internal policies across domestic and international operations.
Manage tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 and collaborate with finance teams for accurate financial reporting.
Develop and drive tax strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving U.S. and international tax laws.
Handle tax audits, including those involving international components, and liaise with tax authorities to resolve issues efficiently.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Partner with internal teams (accounting, finance, and executive leadership) to integrate tax strategies into overall business objectives.
Conduct tax risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to international operations.
Stay current on global tax trends, regulations, and best practices to inform and guide senior leadership.

Requirements:

CPA or JD with a strong background in tax.
Proven expertise in corporate and international tax compliance, including managing complex cross-border tax matters.
Extensive knowledge of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regulations.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team of tax professionals.
Leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring, guiding, and inspiring team members.
Experience with transfer pricing, tax treaty application, and foreign tax credits is highly desirable.
Ability to manage complex tax reporting processes effectively.

Pay: $155,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
