The Role

You will transform raw gameplay footage into:

Structured long-form episodes

Tightly paced mid-form content

Retention-aware YouTube-ready final cuts

Strategic storytelling flow

Clean audio balancing and narrative clarity

You will work under a Director who provides vision and structure. As trust builds, creative autonomy expands. Head Editor oversees all work.

We are not looking for someone to simply “cut clips.”

We are looking for someone who understands pacing, tension, rhythm, and narrative movement.

Compensation - Full Transparency

This is a performance-based role.

There is currently no guaranteed base salary.

Editors earn from the monetized performance of the content they edit.

Revenue is tied directly to video performance

Consistency increases earning potential

Long-term contributors are prioritized for future paid roles and sponsorship splits

As APS scales, compensation scales

We are building toward sustainability.

Early contributors grow with the studio.

Requirements

Demonstrated video editing experience (portfolio required)

Strong pacing and storytelling instincts

Reliable communication

Ability to meet deadlines without being chased

Comfortable receiving structured feedback

English fluency; written & spoken

Ability to handle remote large-file workflows

YouTube editing experience
