One time I improved a workflow was during my coursework when I was handling financial reports and assignments. Initially, I noticed that the process of compiling data, formatting reports, and checking accuracy was very time-consuming and often repetitive.
To improve this, I created a simple structured workflow. I organized all data inputs into a standardized template using spreadsheets, added basic formulas to automate calculations, and created a checklist to ensure accuracy before submission. I also grouped tasks into clear steps—data entry, verification, and final formatting—so I could work more systematically.
As a result, I reduced the time needed to complete reports by around 30%, minimized errors, and improved consistency in my work. This experience taught me the importance of process optimization and how small improvements can significantly increase efficiency.
