The Role
The Sales Development Representative will be instrumental in driving business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new opportunities in the healthcare technology market. This role suits a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives on initiating conversations, building rapport through outreach, and introducing potential clients to solutions that can transform their operations. You will serve as the first point of contact for many prospective customers, setting the stage for successful relationships and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach: Use creative strategies—cold calling, email sequences, and social selling—to connect with key decision-makers and generate interest.
Meeting Generation: Secure qualified meetings for the sales team with executives and senior leaders in healthcare organizations.
Pipeline Contribution: Identify, research, and qualify potential business opportunities to support a strong and consistent sales funnel.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on target organizations and stakeholders to craft personalized and relevant outreach.
CRM Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date, detailed records of interactions and account details within the CRM system (HubSpot or similar).
Performance Monitoring: Track activity metrics, conversion rates, and progress toward individual and team goals.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong grasp of the company’s healthcare technology offerings and value proposition.
Collaboration: Partner closely with sales colleagues to ensure effective handoffs and alignment on messaging.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
Experience: Open to recent graduates; internships or prior experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare technology are advantageous. Experience working with hospitals or health systems is preferred.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar)
Proficient in LinkedIn and other prospecting tools
Comfortable using virtual collaboration tools in a remote work setting

Base Salary: $45,000 annually
Performance Incentives: $100–$200 per qualified meeting set (based on seniority level of the contact)
Commissions: Additional earnings on closed deals resulting from your scheduled meetings
