Duties:
- Produce high-quality analytical reports on South Asian news, political, security, and geopolitical developments on a regular basis.
- Apply diverse research methods to provide predictive, data-driven insights on regional trends and emerging issues.
- Deliver tailored briefings and impact assessments to clients navigating South Asian complexities.
- Formulate actionable policy and risk mitigation strategies using official data, expert opinion, and open-source intelligence.
- Monitor and interpret developments across countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Professional background and experience: Candidates should demonstrate expertise in South Asian affairs through academic, government, media, or industry roles. Prior work in think tanks, international organizations, or journalism focused on the region is highly advantageous.
- Proven research experience and strong interest in the geopolitical, social, and security dynamics of South Asia.
- Proficient in gathering intelligence from multiple sources including local media, official reports, and expert networks.
- Self-directed and disciplined in managing independent work, while also contributing effectively in a global, collaborative team environment.
- Outstanding research and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex developments into clear and concise reports.
