We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Clerk to support our administrative and operational functions. In this role, you will perform essential clerical duties related to insurance policies, claims processing, data entry, and customer documentation. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely handling of insurance records.
Responsibilities:Review and process insurance applications, renewals, and policy changes.
Enter and update client data into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Assist in maintaining electronic files and records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Support claims processing by collecting documents, verifying information, and updating claim statuses.
Respond to email or phone inquiries from customers, agents, or internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare standard reports, letters, and documentation as directed by supervisors or underwriters.
Verify policyholder information and ensure completeness of required paperwork.
Perform routine audits of documents for accuracy and completeness.
Follow up on missing information or discrepancies in insurance documents.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.
1 years of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience (preferably in an insurance or financial services setting).
Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with insurance terminology or willingness to learn quickly.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
