The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing team on material needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage purchase orders to vendors; monitor orders until they are received or drop shipped.
- Follow up with vendors on purchase orders that have not been acknowledged to ensure timely confirmation and processing of all orders.
- Address any discrepancies in shipments sent directly to customers, ensuring immediate communication and resolution of issues.
- Follow up with vendors regarding purchase orders that have not been received on time, ensuring prompt resolve and communication of any delivery delays.
- Process/Receive all purchase orders shipped directly to customers.
- Enter tracking in applicable portals
- Other duties and ad hoc analysis/reporting as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- NetSuite software and international purchasing experience a plus
