Role Overview:
We are seeking a Creative Strategist with proven experience in the beauty and skincare DTC space to lead the development of high-performing, data-driven ad creatives. The ideal candidate understands why creative works, not just how it looks, and can translate insights into scalable concepts that drive measurable growth.
You will work closely with the performance marketing, media buying, and creative production teams to ideate, test, iterate, and scale winning creative angles across paid media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the creative strategy for paid acquisition campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and other DTC channels
- Research and identify winning creative angles based on customer pain points, product benefits, trends, and competitive analysis within the beauty/skincare market
- Translate performance data into actionable creative insights and testing hypotheses
- Create clear, creative briefs, hooks, messaging frameworks, and UGC concepts for designers, editors, and creators
- Collaborate closely with Media Buyers to align creative strategy with campaign objectives, funnels, and scaling efforts
- Monitor creative performance (CTR, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, thumb-stop rate, retention) and optimize concepts accordingly
- Stay on top of beauty, skincare, and UGC trends across social platforms to continuously refresh creative angles
- Build and maintain a structured creative testing roadmap (iterations, variations, formats, and messaging themes)
- Ensure brand voice, compliance, and product claims are aligned with industry standards and regulations
- 3+ years of experience as a Creative Strategist, Creative Producer, or similar role in a DTC environment
- Proven experience in the beauty and/or skincare industry (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and full-funnel creative strategy
- Hands-on experience working with paid social channels, especially Meta and TikTok
- Ability to analyze performance data and convert insights into creative direction
- Experience working with UGC-style content, creator briefs, and short-form video ads
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
