As we continue expanding nationwide, we’re seeking a full-time Accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to play a key role in building strong financial infrastructure within a growing service-based organization.
Position Overview
The Accountant will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic visibility across the organization. This individual will manage day-to-day accounting functions while also providing financial analysis and insight to support executive decision-making and long-term growth.
This is a high-impact, full-time role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple financial workflows — including internal operations and project-based consulting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily bookkeeping and general ledger management
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and reconciliations
Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar)
Develop and manage internal budgets and financial forecasts
Monitor cash flow and provide strategic recommendations
Track and properly categorize consulting-related expenses
Coordinate payroll processing and contractor payments
Prepare financial reports and performance analysis for executive leadership
Support tax preparation and collaborate with external CPA firms
Develop financial dashboards and KPI reporting (profitability, margins, client performance)
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
3+ years of accounting experience (professional services, consulting, or law firm experience strongly preferred)
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Experience independently managing reconciliations and month-end close
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote, high-accountability environment
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting law firms or legal-service organizations
Familiarity with consulting or project-based billing models
Ability to analyze and report on financial KPIs (client profitability, gross margins, cost per acquisition, etc.)
Knowledge of multi-state payroll and contractor compliance
