We’re looking for a Content Strategist to own and scale our entire content ecosystem across YouTube, short-form social, paid advertising, and email.
This is a strategy + execution role working directly with the founder. You’ll take complex U.S. tax and financial concepts and turn them into clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content that builds trust and drives client acquisition.
You don’t need to be a CPA—but you do need to confidently write about topics like S-corp elections, tax strategies, and wealth planning without heavy guidance.
Key Responsibilities
YouTube (Long-Form)
- Develop and manage a 90-day content strategy and editorial calendar
- Research and script video concepts around U.S. tax strategy and financial planning
- Write full-length scripts optimized for retention and watch time
- Create SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and video structure (chapters)
- Analyze performance (CTR, CPM, retention) and iterate based on data
Short-Form Content (TikTok / Reels / Shorts)
- Ideate and script high-performing short-form content (30–90 seconds)
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats
- Build systems for consistent, high-volume output (10–20 pieces per week)
- Write strong hooks, captions, and CTAs tailored to each platform
- Stay on top of trends in finance and business content
Paid Advertising (Meta / Google)
- Write direct-response ad copy for high-net-worth audiences
- Develop VSL scripts and ad concepts
- Create and optimize landing page copy aligned with campaigns
- Run A/B tests and ensure consistent messaging across funnels
Email & Newsletter
- Write a weekly newsletter for lead nurturing and client engagement
- Build and optimize automated email sequences
- Repurpose video content into email-native formats
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications
- 3+ years of content strategy experience in financial services, fintech, or professional advisory
- Proven ability to write clearly and authoritatively about complex U.S. tax or financial topics
- Experience managing or contributing to a YouTube channel with meaningful scale (10K+ subscribers or similar)
- Hands-on experience writing paid ad copy for Meta and/or Google
- Strong, independent command of written English (publication-ready quality)
- Experience with analytics tools (YouTube Studio, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, email platforms)
- Solid understanding of SEO and keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously with a U.S.-based founder
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content around U.S. tax strategy, S-corps, real estate investing, or high-net-worth financial planning
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar
- Background in writing VSLs, webinar scripts, or long-form direct-response content
- USD Salary.
