This is a full-time, remote position for attorney with 3-5 years of employment law experience. Civil litigation experience also required.

The firm advises employers on compliance with federal, state and local laws and defends employers in court and administrative proceedings. Prior to 2020, the firm moved to a “virtual office” model, where attorneys tele-commute and work remotely via a secure VPN. Firm resources are available on a remote server, accessible anywhere with a computer or laptop with high-speed internet. As a virtual law firm, we value responsiveness and that communicate within the firm primarily by email, instant messenger, and audio/video calls.
The responsibilities of the position will involve providing attorney support to the firm’s employment practice. The position will involve witness interviews, legal research and extensive legal writing, including preparation of EEOC position statements and responses to DOL audits, drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery objections and responses, drafting of legal advice to clients on employment law issues, drafting responses to demand letters and reviewing and revising employment policies. More experienced attorneys may be given responsibility for handling and managing single plaintiff employment litigation, including pleadings, motions practice, discovery, and depositions.
