We are a growing, small-scale customs brokerage firm based in New York, seeking a Licensed Customs Broker with an interest in business development and company growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including but not limited to FDA, USDA, and other government agencies.
- Manage day-to-day customs clearance operations and provide guidance to clients on international trade regulations.
- Leverage expertise in the latest industry software and tools to streamline processes.
- Collaborate on business development initiatives to grow our client base and improve service offerings.
- Assist in driving strategies that expand the company’s footprint in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Customs Broker License.
- Strong working knowledge of customs rules and regulations, FDA, and USDA policies.
- Experience with the latest customs software and technology.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development and company growth.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining excellent communication with a small, dynamic team.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
