About the Position
The Product Quality Analyst ensures product quality through comprehensive testing, validation of business rules, and support of product development activities. This remote role combines technical skills with deep business domain knowledge to validate that product functionality aligns with business requirements and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Create test plans and execute manual tests using Azure DevOps supporting multiple user interfaces and backend processes
- Validate business rules implementation in data transformations and system outputs
- Create and maintain test cases based on business requirements
- Identify and document defects with clear reproduction steps
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)
Business Analysis
- Review and provide feedback on product requirements from a testing perspective
- Support root cause analysis of production issues
- Analyze data and system behavior to inform product decisions
- Document edge cases and business rule exceptions
- Maintain testing documentation and business validation scenarios
Product Team Collaboration
- Provide regular status updates on testing activities
- Responsible for creating and communicating release notes
- Work closely with developers to understand changes and potential impacts
- Communicate testing results and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Support go-live activities and post-deployment validation

Qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in product owner, testing, business analyst, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Able to be available to work standard Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
- Authorized to work in US
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in manual testing strategies and techniques
- Intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation (SELECT, JOIN, etc.)
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Azure DevOps Test Plans preferred)
- Experience working in or adjacent to software development lifecycle
- Ability to write clear technical and business documentation such as bug reports, release notes, and test plans
