Job Title: Director of Human Resources (Remote)

About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to join our team in a part-time capacity, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role. This is a remote position ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to build and scale HR systems that support organizational growth and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and develop all HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and employee relations
Design and implement policies and procedures that align with company values and legal requirements
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent development
Manage employee documentation, benefits administration, and HRIS system
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports engagement and retention
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Provide guidance and training to managers on HR best practices
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an HR leadership role (HR Manager, HR Director, or similar)
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance standards
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with team members
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred, but not required
Additional Details:
Position starts part-time (approx. 20–25 hours/week)
Will transition to full-time based on company growth and performance alignment
Flexible schedule within standard business hours
