About Us:
We are a U.S.-based international vehicle export company with operations in both the United States and Canada. We specialize in sourcing and shipping new vehicles to clients worldwide, including Europe, South America, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. For nearly two decades, we’ve built a reputation for accuracy, efficiency, and trusted relationships with dealers, freight forwarders, and international buyers.
Our business is built on speed, accuracy, and relationships. Every vehicle we move relies on seamless coordination between sellers, truckers, forwarders, and buyers. The systems are in place — including a real-time logistics portal — but we’re looking for the right person to own the process and help us grow.
Logistics is at the heart of our operations. That’s why this role is so important. We’re looking for someone who’s not only detail-driven and highly skilled in international logistics, but also polite, service-oriented, and able to build strong relationships with forwarders and warehouses.
What You’ll Do
- Book inland freight (U.S. and Canada) and coordinate vehicle pickups from sellers to warehouses.
- Secure ocean and occasional air freight bookings with forwarders, negotiating competitive rates and departure times.
- Pair vehicles efficiently into shared containers for export.
- Ensure timely photos, condition reports, and BOLs from warehouses and truckers.
- Track title and registration readiness to schedule ocean bookings.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including:
- MBL, OBL, HBL
- Packing lists & invoices
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Degas documents
- Insurance certificates
- Handle bonded shipments from Canada into the U.S. for export.
- Coordinate with accounting to release documents and payments to forwarders/truckers.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with sellers, forwarders, warehouses, and insurance providers.
- Upload and manage all updates in the company’s logistics portal, ensuring the step-by-step process for each vehicle is tracked with documents, photos, and status updates.
- Ask forwarders and warehouse partners for referrals — helping expand the customer network.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in international logistics/export (vehicle export experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, bonded transport, and Letters of Credit.
- Polite, professional communication style with a service-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and problem-solve quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through — documents and deadlines must be flawless.
- Comfortable negotiating rates and building relationships with forwarders and warehouses.
- Flexibility to start part-time (15–25 hrs/week) with the ambition to grow into a full-time career role.
What Success Looks Like
- Vehicles are picked up quickly once marked ready in the portal.
- Warehouse photos and condition reports arrive without delay.
- Ocean bookings secure the fastest possible departure and sailing times.
- Documentation is complete and accurate the first time.
- All communications are handled promptly and professionally.
- Referrals from forwarders and warehouses generate new customer opportunities (with bonus incentives).
Compensation & Growth
- Starting at $25–$30/hr, depending on experience.
- Part-time (15–25 hrs/week) with growth to full-time salaried role as volume increases.
- Referral bonus program for generating new customer opportunities.
- Remote position — open to candidates in the U.S. or Canada.
