Essay editing jobs focus on , . In this role, Notably, essay editors do not write material for students other than by making corrections to existing work, as that is academically unethical and not performed by reputable editing services. Essay editors
- Evaluate, review, and provide feedbacks to the student’s college application essays with detailed feedbacks , particularly college application essays and those for major assignments
- You may evaluate sentence structure, word choice, grammar, provide suggestions to the student, and otherwise help improve the overall quality of the essay.
- Work with clients from different cultural and educational backgrounds, including international students who may grasp concepts but have difficulty conveying them in a non-native language
- Be passionate to work with high school or college students
- Meeting with students and parents in the office and virtually
- Deadline-oriented work style and team-oriented attitude
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred from TOP 50 in US News Ranking or Top 50 Liberal arts colleges (preferred majors in English Literature, Journalism, Sociology, Creative writing, or other relative majors)
- Strong writing skills, especially in essay editing and drafting
- Be able to present the essay and communicate with students and parents
