GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Recruiter to support our ongoing recruitment efforts during an active hiring cycle. This is a 6-month remote contract role that will work closely with the internal HR team to source, screen, and manage candidates across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within the finance or insurance industry.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the HR team to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities
- Assist in refining job descriptions and qualifications based on department needs
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to align on hiring timelines and expectations
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks, and internal databases
- Conduct initial outreach and screening to assess candidate suitability, interest, and availability
- Conduct structured virtual interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Present qualified candidates to the HR team with notes and hiring recommendations
- Coordinate interview schedules and support communication with candidates
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or internal spreadsheets
- Track and report on recruiting activity, including sourcing channels and pipeline status
- Support compliance and documentation throughout the hiring process
- Ensure timely, clear, and professional communication throughout all stages of the recruitment process
- Represent the company's values and culture in all candidate interactions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience; both in-house and agency backgrounds welcome
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English is required
- Experience recruiting in the finance and/or insurance industry strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong sourcing skills and proficient in applicant tracking systems and digital recruiting tools
- Able to manage multiple requisitions independently in a remote environment
