Job Title: Program Assistant
Hourly Rate: $18.75 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Location: Remote (with required travel to in-person program sessions and meetings within Cuyahoga County, Ohio)

Position Overview
The Program Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Project Milk Mission’s programs in Cuyahoga County. This is a grant-funded, remote position focused on program logistics, scheduling, participant coordination, and accurate data tracking, with required travel to in-person program sessions and meetings within Cuyahoga County.
Key Responsibilities
Program Logistics & Coordination
- Schedule breastfeeding classes, support groups, and program activities.
- Send calendar invites and manage Zoom links for virtual sessions.
- Schedule and manage Zoom meetings and classes.
- Coordinate logistics for in-person sessions, including:
- Arranging meals and program supplies
- Preparing materials for participants
- Supporting on-site setup and breakdown as needed
Participant Support & Scheduling
- Schedule program activities for participants.
- Arrange Lyft rides for eligible participants.
- Track and record participant item requests.
- Assist with participant communication related to schedules, reminders, and program logistics.
Data Tracking & Record-Keeping
- Accurately track and document:
- Participant attendance
- Incentive distribution
- Supply and item distribution
- Maintain organized records to support program reporting and compliance requirements.
- Assist with reporting by ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
Administrative & Office Support
- Track and record office supply requests.
- Assist with inventory tracking for program and participant supplies.
- Provide general administrative support related to program operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree preferred (public health, social services, administration, or a related field).
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in administrative, program support, or nonprofit settings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating, updating, and managing spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
- Comfortable using technology, including email, calendars, Zoom, and Google Workspace or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
