We are seeking a Translation Testing & Model Training Specialist to support our ongoing work in building and refining multilingual transcription and translation solutions. Our goal is to ensure high-quality performance across multiple languages critical for our clients.
This role is crucial in testing, validating, and providing feedback on our translation and transcription models to ensure readiness for client demonstrations and live deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Translation & Transcription Testing:
- Test and validate the accuracy and usability of our transcription and translation solutions across multiple languages.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in translations and transcriptions.
- Document findings clearly and work with the product and engineering teams to improve model performance.
- Provide linguistic input and corrections to improve training data quality.
- Collaborate with data teams to label and annotate datasets when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement cycle by re-testing models after updates.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to share insights and testing results.
- Provide quick feedback to enable timely fixes before client demonstrations.
- Engage with in-house and remote testers for other languages when needed.
Required Language Expertise
Candidates should have native or near-native proficiency in the following languages :
- Spanish
- English (business fluency)
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in the above languages.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot linguistic and contextual errors.
- Comfortable using laptops, tablets, and web-based tools for testing.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results on tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and provide structured feedback.
- Must own a laptop and an iPad capable of running current testing tools. Candidates must include the exact model names and year of their laptop and iPad when applying, as older devices may not perform adequately.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in localization, translation, or linguistic QA.
- Familiarity with transcription tools, speech recognition systems, or NLP model testing.
- Experience with cross-cultural communication or working with international teams.

Time Commitment: Flexible, based on project needs; must be available on short notice for client testing schedules.
