Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video recordings into written documents while maintaining high standards of quality, confidentiality, and turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

Listen to audio/video recordings and transcribe them into clear, accurate written text
Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and formatting
Ensure consistency in style and adherence to company guidelines
Meet deadlines and manage multiple transcription assignments efficiently
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Communicate with team members regarding unclear audio or project requirement

Requirements

Proven experience in transcription, data entry, or a similar role is preferred
Excellent listening, typing, and comprehension skills
Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Typing speed of at least 60+ words per minute
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and headphones
Familiarity with transcription software/tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with medical, legal, or general transcription
Knowledge of different accents and dialects
Proficiency in tools like Express Scribe, Otter, or similar software
