Overview
Non-profit Executive Women International is seeking an enthusiastic, highly-detailed Business Operations Specialist to support daily business operations of the organization in partnership with the Corporate Board of Directors. The Business Operations Specialist will report to the Corporate President and execute daily operations for the organization along with supporting the success of multiple programs and initiatives for the organization. As a key player supporting day-to-day operations it is imperative to consistently demonstrate EWI’s values and uphold a fiduciary responsibility to the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization.

Responsibilities
- Meeting all project and reporting deadlines.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of the Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting.
- Processing all new member applications and creating new member profiles in the organization’s association management system, YourMembership.
- Processing all member renewal dues.
- Implementing policies as established by the Board of Directors.
- Collaborating with the Board of Directors and its committees for their initiatives and allocate resources to support the Board and committees to meet strategic plan objectives.
- Monitoring the performance of services from all contractors, vendors, and consultants.
- Working with the Board of Directors and the Budget Committee to prepare an annual budget to be presented to the membership for approval at the Annual Meeting.
- Obtaining Board approval for all expenses in compliance with established policies.
- Establishing and maintaining an effective system of communication throughout the organization and promote communication and best practices to be shared effectively and efficiently with the organization’s membership.
- Promoting the organization’s visibility by assisting with internal and external communications that promote stakeholder engagement and provide full transparency into the organization’s activities.
- Attending all Corporate Board meetings and preparing Corporate office Board reports.
- Coordinating all travel for the Corporate Board, including flights, accommodations, itineraries, and additional support as needed.
- Managing the online EWI store. Maintain inventory through quarterly audits of stock and replenish as demand requires. Ship orders to customers in a timely manner.
- Attending weekly virtual meetings with the Corporate President to discuss projects, operational updates, and other topics as necessary.
- Attending quarterly virtual meetings with the Corporate President to discuss performance, development, and other topics as deemed important by either the President or employee.
- Collaborating with the Corporate President on an annual employee development plan.
- Overseeing the organization’s financial platforms, including but not limited to: American Express, BluePay, Venmo, and CardPoint.
- Completing ACH transactions as requested.
- Serving as the primary financial contact for the organization when the Corporate Treasurer is unavailable and completing activities in Quickbooks as needed.
- Management of EWI's Corporate website with duties including but not limited to maintaining accurate files in the resource library, updating web pages, and uploading webinar recordings.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of EWI's digital brand.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in an operations-focused role
- Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with the Corporate Board and all members of the organization
- Effective communication, including speaking, writing, and active listening
- Able to give and receive feedback from a variety of channels
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must possess the ability to work well autonomously and be a self-starter
- Must demonstrate high degree of emotional intelligence
- Non-profit operational experience preferred but not required
- Technical proficiency with the following highly preferred but not required: Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, association management systems, graphic design programs (e.g., Canva), social media platforms, website design programs
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
