Job Summary:
Our Research Records Coordinator is responsible for the data hygiene of our lawyer and law firm records. This position’s primary responsibility is to ensure our lawyer records are accurate and correct. Through coordinating contract employees (who do the bulk of the actual data hygiene validation work), this position oversees the annual data verification process for the company. The Research Records Coordinator will additionally assist with managing data submissions related to our awards. To succeed in this position, the candidate must have a grasp of global business practices, excellent communication, organization, customer service skills, and a strong interest in business and analytics. Familiarity with the legal industry is preferred, but not required.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring all records are accurate for our firms and lawyers through our annual data verification process.
- Coordinator of contract employees to perform the bulk of our verification process.
- Evaluate work performed by contractors.
- Manage contractor invoicing in partnership with the Finance Department.
- Collaborates with internal resources to update data as necessary.
- Reviews professional sanctions that apply to lawyers in our database.
- Support a Research Manager with projects related to creating our legal awards.
- Verify information for accuracy using our standard procedures.
- Comprehensively understand our methodology to assist with research submissions, participation, and questions.
- Additional projects assigned within the Research and Development Department.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel. Ideally familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience: Prior experience in project management, data management, or data quality assurance. Preference given to those with experience working with large datasets and conducting data audits.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to identify and correct data anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to troubleshoot data issues and implement effective solutions to maintain data integrity.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate data-related issues and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in data hygiene and data management.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of comparable work experience related to this position
- Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Languages, Liberal Arts, Political Science, Economics, Communications, or another related field; minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
