The Primary Aldosteronism Foundation seeks a motivated graduate-level student to support ongoing initiatives advancing diagnosis, treatment, and research in primary aldosteronism. The position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit program development, scientific communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain and enhance the Specialist and Center Directory on the PAF website by reviewing, verifying, and updating listings to reflect current expertise and locations.
· Identify and summarize new scientific studies relevant to primary aldosteronism for inclusion on the “PA Research” webpage and internal knowledge base.
· Research funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, and assist with proposal preparation and application tracking.
· Identify potential development and collaboration opportunities with academic, clinical, or industry partners.
· Support preparation of reports, presentations, or advocacy materials highlighting progress and emerging research.
· Support content strategy by recommending updates to improve usability and impact of online educational resources and patient outreach and other website content.
Desired Skills & Background:
· Graduate-level training in public health, biomedical sciences, health policy, research management, or related field.
· Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
· Familiarity with scientific literature databases (e.g., PubMed) preferred.
· Interest in healthcare equity, rare or underdiagnosed diseases, or endocrine disorders.
· Experience in research and/or grant management will be viewed favorably
Meetings and Time Commitment
Flexible remote schedule. Your attendance may be requested at occasional online meetings. We anticipate a minimum of 5 to 10 hours of your time will be needed each week. There is immediate potential for additional hours and financial compensation for the right candidate.
