We are looking for a Recruiter to join a growing real estate consulting firm in a part-time, remote Contract position based in Los Angeles, California. This role supports both talent acquisition and broader employee experience efforts, offering the opportunity to contribute across hiring, onboarding, and people-focused initiatives. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving recruiting operations, using technology to create efficiency, and partnering with teams to attract strong talent.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day hiring activity within Greenhouse, making effective use of platform features and recruiting technology to keep searches organized and efficient.
• Evaluate applications, conduct initial candidate outreach and screening conversations, and guide applicants through each stage of the selection process.
• Arrange interviews with hiring teams, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and help move candidates smoothly from review to decision.
• Support offer preparation, assist with compensation discussions, and complete reference checks prior to finalizing hires.
• Partner with multiple departments on open positions, helping identify talent needs and maintain consistent recruiting support across the business.
• Strengthen recruiting operations by refining workflows, introducing automation where appropriate, and improving overall process efficiency.
• Build relationships with universities, career services groups, and industry associations to expand early-career and niche talent pipelines.
• Manage campus recruiting activities and maintain job advertisements through Handshake and related outreach channels.
• Contribute to onboarding, employee check-ins, performance support activities in Rippling, and additional People Operations or benefits-related projects as needed.• Hands-on experience using Greenhouse is required.
• Background in full-cycle or corporate recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer-stage coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in recruiting systems, automation tools, and process enhancement within talent acquisition.
• Confidence supporting searches for both experienced professionals and entry-level or university talent.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with Handshake, Rippling, or similar HR and recruiting platforms is preferred.
