General Liability Sales Representative Medical Cost Containment Remote 95k-115K
We are seeking an experienced and high-energy General Liability Sales Representative to drive growth in the insurance and legal markets, focusing on medical cost containment solutions that deliver improved outcomes and reduced claims spend. This role requires expertise in liability claim workflows, consultative selling, and the ability to partner directly with claims executives, defense counsel, TPAs, carriers, and risk managers.
You will own the full sales cycle: prospecting, relationship building, solution positioning, negotiating, and closing.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand GL and medical-legal service usage
- Identify and penetrate target accounts across carriers, TPAs, brokers, and self-insureds
- Present clinical and financial value through strong storytelling and ROI modeling
- Meet and exceed quarterly growth goals with disciplined pipeline management
- Deliver competitive intelligence and collaborate on sales strategy
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain high-value relationships with decision makers and influencers
- Conduct client check-ins, business reviews, and performance reporting
- Work closely with operations to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction
Industry Collaboration
- Participate in conferences, webinars, and networking events to promote brand visibility
- Represent the organization as a thought leader in GL medical cost containment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in P&C insurance industry sales, preferably mid-market or enterprise
- Experience selling medical cost containment or medical-legal services strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of GL claim exposures related to bodily injury and treatment disputes
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- High accountability, resilience, and ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent)
