ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is a fully remote position best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast paced environment and understands the urgency and complexity of roofing project management.
- Role is fully remote and open to candidates nationwide
- Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Occasional field travel may be required based on project needs
- Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license
- Ideal candidate has deep roofing experience and strong communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and tools is essential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPROJECT LAUNCH & OVERSIGHT
- Review job approval checklists, contract scope, and homeowner selections prior to job start
- Coordinate internal kickoff steps including sales notes, material selections, and crew assignments
- Confirm start dates with homeowners and communicate next step expectations
- Conduct or support OSHA compliant safety meetings when needed
- Ensure safety standards are documented and upheld
OPERATIONS & SCHEDULING
- Build and manage project timelines using AccuLynx and internal tracking tools
- Order materials and coordinate delivery logistics with suppliers and crews
- Monitor WhatsApp updates and job photos to track daily progress
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid delays
- Ensure milestones, schedule changes, and job phases are clearly documented
ESTIMATING & JOB SETUP
- Prepare and review project estimates using AccuLynx, iRoofing, SumoQuote, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to confirm takeoffs, measurements, and material specifications
- Ensure estimates reflect all known variables and support profitability
- Use estimates as the foundation for financial worksheets and contract execution
- Revise estimates as needed based on change orders or walkthroughs
CHANGE ORDERS & FINANCIAL TRACKING
- Proactively identify and document change orders including pricing, photos, and homeowner approvals
- Update financial worksheets in real time to reflect cost changes and margin tracking
- Issue change order and final invoices promptly through AccuLynx
- Register manufacturer warranties such as GAF after job completion when applicable
INTERNAL COLLABORATION & WORKFLOW OWNERSHIP
- Review new leads and approve for group assignment
- Manage job folders, communication logs, and pinned scopes within AccuLynx
- Lead virtual team check ins to align on schedules and priorities
- Provide operational guidance to sales, production, and admin teams
- Assist with training new hires on tools and workflow best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing operations
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone hours
- Strong proficiency in AccuLynx, iRoofing, WhatsApp, and project management tools
- High level organizational skills with ability to manage shifting priorities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Must thrive in a fast paced, high accountability environment
